lesser things

Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth

So I saw something which belonged to someone and I almost let myself believe God hasn’t been so good to me. I think it’s a daily struggle in our mind to covet our neighbor. We think having those things would make us feel better, more fulfilled or important. However little or much you may posses there are two sure words for you.

1.       God has a plan to give you better. He wants to bring you to a place of goodness and hope.

2.       No eye has seen , no ear has heard ,no one can know what God has in store for those that love him.

We never can tell where we are going because with the Holy Spirit we are like winds ,people will see us and recognize us but won’t know where we come from or where we are going (John 3). God’s vision for life would probably shake you if he gave you full details. God is good and he wants us o prosper in our body, soul and spirit.

Having earthly things is great but what you posses must not define you. The vision God is working out for you should be what you answer to.

Your life should be made off loving God +serving Him + trusting daily.

When you decide to pray, do not pray for just physical things, pray for deeper things like favor, grace and mercy. And yes  God’s glory will surround you. For the Presence of God is an atmosphere hat can draw anything you could ever want. The anointing and recognizing the anointing will allow you to understand that there are so many things God can do with what you have right where you are.

Women of faith have a song “boundless love” a line in it struck me this morning…. “where all of you is all of me”

This is what we should be seeking, to carry the very nature of God, to be saturated  with Him.

Do you believe He exists?

Hebrews 11:6
.........because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists.......
In this present age, science seems to have an explanation for everything and the things yet to be explained are currently under investigation.

We can never explain what made Abraham leave his father's house , a place of comfort to pursue a certain promise which a certain voice had told him off.
Why would Noah build an ark on certain instructions which were enough to ensure every creature on the planet had a place in it.

They believed in the existence of a higher power, something greater than themselves ,greater than the worlds and everything they had seen or experienced.

They believed He Existed

Faith produced a holy fear in Noah when his world was full of men following their own desires. HE OBEYED, following everything he had been told in His Spirit even when he was made a laughing stock. He became an heir of righteousness by his faith. Abraham left the gods he knew and ventured into lands promised to his descendants even though he had no child. He saw stars and sandal and a destiny while still childless. He had faith that the one who promised was able. He may not have understood how it was gong to happen but he let God be God.
Through his faith his son Isaac also obtained the promises of God to Abraham. Faith can produce transferable blessings to generations unborn.
Isaac saw his father's faith when he was almost sacrificed and God provided. He then also transferred his faith to his sons .

Your choice to believe in God is more than one you make for yourself because your faith will affect generations after you.
