lesser things

Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth

So I saw something which belonged to someone and I almost let myself believe God hasn’t been so good to me. I think it’s a daily struggle in our mind to covet our neighbor. We think having those things would make us feel better, more fulfilled or important. However little or much you may posses there are two sure words for you.

1.       God has a plan to give you better. He wants to bring you to a place of goodness and hope.

2.       No eye has seen , no ear has heard ,no one can know what God has in store for those that love him.

We never can tell where we are going because with the Holy Spirit we are like winds ,people will see us and recognize us but won’t know where we come from or where we are going (John 3). God’s vision for life would probably shake you if he gave you full details. God is good and he wants us o prosper in our body, soul and spirit.

Having earthly things is great but what you posses must not define you. The vision God is working out for you should be what you answer to.

Your life should be made off loving God +serving Him + trusting daily.

When you decide to pray, do not pray for just physical things, pray for deeper things like favor, grace and mercy. And yes  God’s glory will surround you. For the Presence of God is an atmosphere hat can draw anything you could ever want. The anointing and recognizing the anointing will allow you to understand that there are so many things God can do with what you have right where you are.

Women of faith have a song “boundless love” a line in it struck me this morning…. “where all of you is all of me”

This is what we should be seeking, to carry the very nature of God, to be saturated  with Him.
